Matha Social Communications Ltd is a daring venture of the Catholic Bishops of Tamilnadu, with the wholehearted cooperation and participation of the lay faithful of the region. Realising the dream and yearning of the Catholic people of Tamilnadu for almost 20 years, the Bishops took a decision after discerning the signs of the time and realising the need of the hour, to float a limited company, first of its kind as an official project of the Regional Bishops’ Council, to take the ministry of evangelization through media to the next level.

Matha Social Communication Ltd exists as a service provider in the fields of Entertainment, Education and Telecommunications. It came into existence from the 7th of July, 2012 and commenced its activities from the 12th of July, 2012. It provides the infra structure and the backbone to produce and telecast programmes with special emphasis on moral, spiritual, social, educational and ethical values.
